WELDING LABORATORYActual address: Moscow region, Kotelniki, Dzerzhinskoye Av. 3., Production facility PCF "STEELCON" LLC. PCF "STEELCON" LLC Welding laboratory was formed and passed primary certification in the system of non-destructive testing of SNK of Rostechnadzor on March 12, 2008. The certification center of JSC "NIKIMT - Rosatomstroy", Moscow. Current certification: Certificate № 81A010274 dated April 04, 2017. Valid until April 04, 2020. Methods of non-destructive examination (NDE): 1. Ultrasonic inspection. 2. Ultrasonic thickness measurement. 3. Visual-measuring method. Laboratory certification area: 1. Boiler inspection objects. 2. Lifting facilities. 3.Objects of mining industry. 4.Oil and gas industry equipment. 5. Metallurgical industry equipment. 6. Equipment for explosive and fire hazardous and chemically hazardous industries. 7. Buildings and structures (construction sites). The laboratory is equipped with modern ultrasonic flaw detectors of "Scanner" series and highly qualified personnel. The laboratory performs operational control of welds during manufacture and installation of steel structures of its own production at the facilities of LLC PCF "STEELCON" . The laboratory also provides services to third-party organizations for quality control of welded structures and products throughout the Russian Federation. Among the largest objects of control of the laboratory are steel structures of transport galleries of the plant "Guardian - Glass" in Ryazan, water pipelines "Moscow-City" in Moscow, drum furnaces with wall thickness 400mm of JSC "Sukholozhsk-Cement" in Sverdlovsk region, oil product pipelines "Lukoil - Shchelkovo", titanium ingots of the state reserve "Pervomaysky" in Novosibirsk region. Novgorod, construction structures of the dome of the Sochi 2014 Central Olympic Stadium and Kazan 2013 Football Stadium, the Knevichi International Airport passenger terminal, Vladivostok, etc. Welding laboratory certification SP 53-101-98 GOST 23118-99 Construction steel structures. General requirements. PB 10-573-03 steam and hot water. CODE OF PRACTICE FOR STRUCTURAL STEEL WELDS The system of regulatory documents in construction CODE OF PRACTICE CONSTRUCTION STEEL FABRICATION AND QUALITY CONTROL SP 53-101-98 (excerpt) The methods and scope of control shall be applied according to the instructions in this document, unless otherwise specified in the design documentation. Upon agreement with the project organization, other effective control methods may be used instead of or in addition to the specified ones. 12.26 Depending on the design, operating conditions and degree of responsibility, welds are divided into I, II and III categories, the characteristics of which are shown in Table 8. The methods and extent of quality control of welded joints are given in Table 9. The control shall be carried out on the basis of the requirements of relevant standards and normative and technical documentation. The conclusion on the results of the control should be signed by a flaw detector certified to the level not lower than 2nd category. Table 8
12.27 Weld joints that require inspection using physical methods (ultrasonic, capillary, mechanical testing, etc.) and the scope of such inspection shall be noted in the design documentation in accordance with the requirements of the drawing-up company standard. Selective tests shall be carried out first of all at the joints at the places of their mutual intersection and at the places with signs of defects. If as a result of sample inspection unsatisfactory quality of the seam is found, the inspection should be continued until the actual boundaries of the defective area are revealed. The inspection shall be carried out before the structures are painted.
